Summary

It is developed method of operative estimation of quality of road sign-boards directly in place of their mounting during service. Method is based on comparison of files of image of sign-board and measure of color, enclosed to him, made by ordinary digital camera. Parameters of estimation of colors: lightness, colored tone and saturation are investigated. It is executed estimation of fitness of existent measures of determination of co-ordinates of color properties of road sign-boards. It is determined exactness of measuring co-ordinates of color depending on angle of illumination and supervision.
