Summary

The analysis of regulatory documents of the developed countries of the world which standardize transverse evenness of pavements is given in the article. The conducted analysis displays the necessity of adaptation and validation of the rut depth values at determining the rut’s geometrical parameters for their standardization. According to the preliminary research data, for the purposes of transverse evenness assessment and rut depth standardization it is offered to use the criterion for ensuring safe traffic conditions.
