Introduction. The modern architectural and construction process is undergoing significant changes under the influence of digital transformation, automation and the development of innovative technologies. In these conditions, construction machines cease to be exclusively a technical means of performing work and acquire the role of an active element of the architectural process. They combine technical, environmental and aesthetic aspects of construction development, defining new approaches to the design, construction and operation of architectural objects.
Research issues. Despite the active development of automated, robotic and intelligent construction systems, scientific research has not sufficiently revealed their role as a factor in the formation of innovative architectural thinking. The impact of modern construction machines on the formation of forms, constructive logic, greening and inclusiveness of the architectural environment requires in-depth analysis, especially in the context of sustainable urban development and post-war reconstruction of destroyed territories of Ukraine.
Research purpose. The purpose of the article is to study the role of modern construction machines in the formation of an innovative architectural process and determine their impact on the technical, environmental and aesthetic aspects of the development of modern construction.
Purpose and objectives of the study. To achieve the goal, the article provides for the solution of the following tasks:
- To investigate the evolution of construction machinery from traditional mechanical systems to high-tech automated and robotic complexes;
- To analyze the impact of technical innovations on the principles of design, construction and operation of architectural objects;
- To identify the main trends in the integration of construction machinery into the BIM environment and the Smart Construction concept;
- To reveal the significance of parametric design, 3D printing, automated assembly and remote control of equipment;
- To assess the environmental and social aspects of the use of modern construction machinery in the context of sustainable development and restoration of Ukraine's infrastructure.
Research methods and results. The study used methods of analysis and generalization of scientific sources, systemic and structural-functional approaches, and comparative analysis of modern technological solutions in the construction industry. As a result, it was found that the integration of construction machines with digital architectural models in real time provides increased efficiency, accuracy and safety of the construction process. It was found that the use of parametric design, additive technologies and automated assembly systems contributes to the formation of a new techno-architectural culture, reducing energy consumption and reducing construction waste. It is proven that modern construction machines play an important role in creating an inclusive, adaptive and energy-efficient urban environment.
Conclusions. Modern construction machines are not only a technical tool for implementing an architectural design, but also a conceptual element of architecture, which forms new boundaries of architectural thinking. Their use determines the possibilities of form formation, constructive logic and contributes to the implementation of the principles of sustainable development in the modern urban environment.
The results obtained confirm the feasibility of developing interdisciplinary cooperation between architects, engineers, and automation specialists, as well as the need to improve educational and scientific programs to train personnel capable of working in a high-tech construction environment, in particular in the conditions of post-war reconstruction of Ukraine.
