Introduction. The article examines the methodology for determining the cost of services for maintaining border crossing points for road transport. The research highlights the importance of establishing effective resource needs to ensure the uninterrupted operation of these points, which is critical for national security and Ukraine’s economic development.
Problem Statement. Given the current development of the infrastructure sector, determining the cost of comprehensive maintenance and technical servicing of buildings, structures, and adjacent areas within a road border crossing point is of particular importance. Ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of these points requires a systematic approach to evaluating provided services and developing a methodology that takes into account various aspects of maintaining and servicing infrastructure objects. Analyzing the cost of such services becomes a crucial stage in planning and effective resource management, as it affects service quality, availability, and competitiveness. Therefore, there is an urgent need to develop a scientifically sound methodology for determining service costs, considering the specificities of these facilities' operation.
Objective. To analyze methodological approaches to determining the cost of services for maintaining border crossing points for road transport. Achieving this goal will improve management efficiency and optimize expenses, ultimately leading to the creation of modern, competitive, and highly effective systems for the technical servicing and maintenance of infrastructure objects at road border crossing points.
Materials and Methods. The article is of a review nature. A systematic approach is used, representing a set of general scientific methodological principles based on the examination of objects as systems.
Results. The application of the approaches outlined in this article will enable the establishment of a scientifically grounded system for determining the need for material, technical, and labor resources for providing comprehensive maintenance and technical servicing of public buildings with utility (auxiliary) facilities and structures, and the adjacent territory within a road border crossing point, considering modern global practices.
Conclusions. Based on the study of contemporary practices, literature sources, and the provisions of legal acts and regulatory documents, this article has developed methodological approaches to determining the cost of services for maintaining border crossing points for road transport. These approaches will help optimize expenditure on the maintenance and servicing of border crossing points, leading to more efficient resource use and optimal allocation of budget funds.
